Eliza’s Personal Background:
For over two decades, Eliza Diener-Brazelle has been a student and practitioner of many forms of movement, including contact improvisation, kinesiology, Pilates, and modern dance. Her discovery of circus arts in 2011 was a life-changing experience, and since then she has found it difficult to keep her feet on the ground. As a founding member of Host of Sparrows, she specializes in partner acrobatics, aerial silks, and floor choreography. Eliza received her BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007, and holds a Level I teaching certification in Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS). In 2016, she earned her comprehensive Pilates instructor certification through Pilates 804, where she currently teaches.
