Meet the Sparrows

Heather (“Mama Sparrow”) Bailey

Heather Bailey founded Host of Sparrows Aerial Circus in 2010. She teaches the Host of Sparrows Aerial Silks Classes (Level One, Level Two, and Level Three) and Aerial Lyra (Level One and Level Two), and is a certified aerial instructor and trained circus rigger. She performs solo and duo aerial silks, aerial rope (corde de lisse), aerial lyra (aerial hoop), solo and duo static trapeze, stilt-walking, modern dance, duo pole, and as a living statue. The Company

Kristin Bezio

Kristin joined Host of Sparrows in 2011. She is a company rigger, and performs as the company clown, Sammy the Sad Sparrow, solo and duo aerial silks, aerial lyra, solo and duo static trapeze, aerial rope, and as a living statue. Doug Critcher

Doug joined Host of Sparrows in 2012. He is a company rigger, and performs solo and duo aerial silks, aerial rope, ballroom dance, and partner acrobatics. (See Doug’s portfolio.)

Mina Corbeau

Mina joined Host of Sparrows in 2013. She is the company costume designer, and performs burlesque, aerial silks, aerial lyra, aerial rope, tumbling, fire eating, and as fantasy characters and a living statue. (See Mina’s portfolio.)

Eliza Diener-Brazelle

Eliza joined Host of Sparrows in 2011. She is a certified Pilates instructor and Level 1 teacher in Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS), and performs solo and duo aerial silks, aerial rope, partner acrobatics, modern dance, and as a living statue. Aubrey Duerksen

Aubrey joined Host of Sparrows in 2013. She performs solo and duo aerial silks, partner acrobatics, aerial rope, tumbling, and as a living statue. Aubrey also teaches the kids’ silks class. (See Aubrey’s portfolio.)

Joe Duerksen

Joe joined Host of Sparrows in 2015. He performs solo and duo aerial silks, aerial lyra, aerial rope, partner acrobatics, and as a living statue. (See Joe’s portfolio.)

Hannah Elvington
